I was prescribed diclofenac 50mg 3 x a day for an ovarian cyst but have found it is helping a lot with my back pain. Can I ask my pain management doctor to prescribe this long term to help with my chronic back pain?
Hi. New in here but saw your question. I have been on Diclofenac for 15 years fir shoulder pain and more recently severe arthritis in knees. Recently suffered a stomach bleed caused by long time use if the above. Tried another milder anti inflam and exactly the same. If you are on this tablet for long term there is also another tablet to be taken alongside it! Now I have ceased anti inflams after so long there are so many other arthritic areas in pain that the diclifenac was hiding! Brilliant tablet but try to avoid long term.
