I'm curiuos I mean are they the same thing really like there would be no differance in a UA?
Hey Lou Bird,
First let me explain that diazepam is the generic of the brand name drug called Valium while lorazepam is the generic of the brand named drug Ativan. Both the Valium (diazepam) and the Ativan (lorazepam) are in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines. It depends on how sensitive the urine test is for these drugs as to whether they show up as benzodiazepines in general or whether they show up as the individual drugs.

Is not Oxazepam a metabolite of Diazepam and would show as a positive in the metabolism of Diazepam?
