Will diazepam show up the same as Xanax on drug screen?

Yes, as a benzodiazepine (both belong to this drug class).

I absolutely agree with Masso but have to add that Xanax tests as Xanax (alprazolam) in your urine while Diazepam (valium) is metabolised into two secondary benzodiazepines neither of which are diazepam.

How was that even remotely helpful? Xanax has no secondary metabolites while Diazepam has two which are not Diazepam. Think before you press the "return" key.

Both show up as benzo on a drug screen for employment or post accident drug screen. Now you are talking about sending it off to a lab for more specific tests then that's a different thing all together. I do think before I reply. I have been screening people for HR where I work for 4 years and it will show up as a benzo! free discount card
