Hi there Am326278,
Diazepam or Valium has an average half life of about 36-56 hours, meaning half the amount of the drug will be metabolized through your system in this time frame.
Everyone’s metabolism is different and not knowing the mg you have taken will also affect the amount of the drug in your system.
In general it will take about a week to ten days for the drug to be completely metabolized and out of your system.
I hope this is helpful.
My calculations make the elimination time to be about 8 to 13 days but it's main metabolite can be detected in blood tests for up to 6 weeks in some people.
