Have you tried cutting down on salt? Are you overweight? Its possible just changing you from benicar to benicar hct would help get it the rest of the way down. The Hct is hydrochlorthiazide, a water pill, which helps lower blood pressure. You didn't say how long you've been on these meds or the doses, so I can't offer more in my answer.
