i have been taking 200mcg thyroxine since diagnosed, but 5 months ago have been increased to 300mcg thyroxine as I was no longer responding to 200mcg. I have just heard of a medication called armour which is a natural more concentrated dose of thyroxine. Should I switch to armour and would it have any adverse effects due to body being used to levothyroxine for the last 13 years.
Switch to Ammor!!! I love it! However it's natural it's BOTH T3 and T4 synthroid and your meds your on do NOT have both hormone they just have either one can't remember which one tho. But yeah some people do great with not t3 t4 then just the one! Lots of doctors don't like using Amor because it's not regulated by the FDA since it's considered natural. It comes from the Pig thyroid hormone not kidding look it up :))) best med tho ever!!
