He looked at my blood under a high powered microscope hooked to a monitor so I could see as well. You could clearly see the spirochete in the blood. I tried supplement for 1 1/2 years and didn't get much better. My pain was unbearable. I finally went back to my primary care physician who did blood tests which came back negative. I am unable to manage day to day and cannot get treated. I am also unable to manage day on my own because of brain fog. The pain had taken over my life. The practitioner who diagnosed me said I have had Lyme for over 10 years. I am unable to get any treatment. I am 63, my husband not longer wants me. I often wonder how to go on and is it worth it.
Tell your doc you cannot live with this any longer it has effected your quality of life, . Call and ask them for a referral to a pain management doctor or clinic, ask your PC also .I'm so sorry what you are going thru, I had to wait 6 mo. to finally get referred to a pain clinic, the regular docs do not want to RX pain meds anymore.
I cannot stand how I feel anymore, the pain meds work but lyme is not going away.
Lyme disease is treatable and curable. If your primary care doctor tested you and said you don't have Lyme disease then you don't. The treatment by your holistic care provider could be the cause of the problems. Supplements taken over a period of time without liver and kidney function testing. They cause deposit within both organs and your pancreas, it can be a very painful state but pain medications would only make the condition worse. You need to have a full physical work up in order for the doctors to find the cause. Pain management is only possible after they have found an untreatable condition. Supplement intake for a problem you don't have for a year and a have can cause a number of real problems. You need to see a real doctor ASAP.
