In 9 out of 10 subjects that were being tested, all 9 were totally pain free after receiving stem cells that were taken from bone marrow and then infused into the pancreas. The 10th subject was about 75-80% better. Are there any clinical trials of this nature being done in the U.S., using adult stem cells, and where can I find more information on this subject? Unfortunately, I did not save the article, much to my dismay. My husband suffers daily from diabetic neuropathy. Please help us find any information on this subject, if possible. He takes Lyrica three times daily and has for over three years, which helps, but does not relieve the pain completely.
