Peripheral neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy are the same. Peripheral is the most common neuropathy for diabetics, causing pain and numbness first in the feet and legs then hands and arms.
I saw a physiologist doctor who did a nerve test on my legs I suffer with chronic pain that paralyzes me. So this test was to determine which nerves were damaged and if I had peripheral nerve damage or diabetic neuropathy. I am diabetic but the pain in my legs comes directly from my sciatica that's the culprit for me. The test showed in several areas no signal. And my legs were strong. The diabetes does affect our nerves terrible. So I hope with my examples it gave u some understanding... vttech10
