how do i take it? once, twice o 3x a day?
Metformin is a drug that is prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by decreasing the amount of sugar made by the liver and decreasing the amount of sugar absorbed into the body. As a result, metformin can help the body respond better to its own insulin and decrease blood sugar levels.
Please do not take metformin for weight loss without seeking the advice from your doc/pharmacist, there maybe milder meds available for weight loss.
Please take care, best wishes!
I am not diabetic and my doctor and I thought I should try it to loose weight because I had trouble loosing. So I tried it. I did not loose any weight and had to get off of it because I felt anemic on it. It was burning sugars I needed to feel good. Not a good one for me.
Take care and hope you find some way to loose weight.
