my grandmother had it and so did my grandpas side so its prolly family history... and my mom juss got told by the doc that she had so i was wondering if theres any pain going to be involed?.
It depends on how you manage your diabetes. If you maintain high sugar levels then you run the risk of diabetic neuropathy (very painful and difficult to treat), kidney issues, and heart disease.
Take care of yourself and your sugar and you should be fine. Also keep regular visits with your doctor(s) and ask questions!!! There is NO such thing as a stupid question when it comes to your health!!!
