... seems to not work as well as it used to I am also on 5mg. of onglyza I have real high sugar levels in the morning ,I am getting frustrated .I walked today and it did go bown to 110 Does anyone have simular problems
I had that problem and I also had a terrible time getting the stomach cramps and bloating to finally go away, finally AFTER keeping the exercise up and the diet the Metiformin has been able to be reduced to one tablet daily, you might continue to keep a record of your blood sugars, watch your diet and continue to exercise then if this continues on a follow up visit take this information to your physician or give his office a call and explain what is happening. I know exactly how you feel but just keep up the right routine and then if things don't improve you will be able to show the doctor exactly what is going on
Yes I used to take onglyza but it didn't work so I'm now taking 1000 mg metformin daily also 300 mg invokana once daily plus glimepride 4 mg twice daily and byuderen injection once weekly. The glimepride works well it brings sugar levels down quick along with metformin .one thing you mentioned was walking if you are physically ok walking after meals at least 10 15 min walk works wonders my problem is my spinal stenosis bulging disc misalignment in my lower back keeps me from getting exercise. But sometimes I go to the community pool and get in there hot therapy spa it helps alot diet and exercise is your best bet if you can do it hope this helps ,I've been taking metformin for 2 years now don't stop any meds without talking to your doc I see a nutritionist along with a personal care physician.
