I am fed up checking every single thing that goes into my mouth. I wish the medical field would bring out the cure. We all know there is one but drug companies would loose millions of dollars if the cure was known to the world. It's all about Greed! Greed! Greed!
Everything you eat breaks down into glucose to be used by our bodies. Everything we eat can raise your blood sugar. The only difference between protein and carbs is that the carbs get to your blood stream faster. This is why I hate when drs tell people no concentrated sweets or low carbs as the diet for diabetes. It leads people to believe they can have anything else in any quantity the want. It also restricts what can be eaten. In truth there are only a few things that are free foods. Celery is one of them. Calories will all turn into glucose. 8oz of whole milk is 150 calories and 4% of the recommended daily allowance of carbs.
