... seem to keep my blood sugar below 250. most of the time it stays in the low 300's. I watch what I eat, I take my med's (including my insulin) and nothing works. Now, i have neuropathy in my feet (for the last year+) and the doctor put me on Gabapentin and Duloxetine. These drugs cause me to gain weight. How am I supposed to prevent more nerve damage if I can't loose the weight (I am 6'1" tall and 370 Lbs.)?
How many different drugs have you tried? If you've had this for seven years, they should've just kept trying new stuff until something worked. Given your weight, I'm surprised they tried insulin so quickly. Have you tried Farxiga and Victoza? Both usually cause weight loss as a side effect which given your condition is a must
Go through all the diabetes drugs. If there are any you haven't tried, ask your doctor why not
