What is their justification for such an action. That is just outrageous. Its not like its an option for you. Here are some organizations that could help you out. And you can also contact the company and see if they provide reduced cost or free medication for low income people. If you are in the US please get signed up for the new insurance act. It will be covered. Also, contact your local social service agency, there may well be programs you have not yet learned about.
