The abscesses were removed but the use of my legs was affected. I now use a walker or A cane. Almost the worst part is the chronic pain I still have. In rehab I was in a wheelchair a lot, lost weight and started developing the pain in my right buttock/low back. They said from sitting so, so long in chair. This pain has kept me from walking and doing the therapy like I should. The pa in now is sciatica, goknn down my leg when I sit. On pain meds and they don't seem to be helping anymore. I would SO like to hear from anyone having something like this. And maybe I could help someone else too, by chatting. My legs feel very heavy when I stand or walk. I don't understand the heaviness. Anyone? Laying down is only way for relief. Thank you. ... and hopefully I can help someone also.
