Each day you will get a bit better. There is a list of over the counter meds and supplements called the Thomas recipe. You can google that as the thomas recipe opiate withdrawal It is Thomas's story of his progress when quitting opiates. It tells which otc or supplement treats each symptom. If you have the energy and are physically able to walk for exercise, this will help reboot your brain neurotransmitters that have been offline since you became opiate dependent. It also helps produce endorphins, the brain's natural feel good chemicals and it help regulate the eat-sleep-wake cycles that have gone haywire. It helps with RLS which is what you are describing. Make sure you have lots of support and stay busy. Congrats and hang in there. It should get better each day and you should be over the worst of it.
Please, as pattishan said, look up The Thomas Recipe. Also, hot baths may help with the restless/painful legs. Walk as much as possible, this may also help legs.
If you can't sleep, try Benadryl at night, but do not mix it with benzo's of any sort. Also, you might want to purchase some Melatonin at a pharmacy, it is all natural, comes in capsules. I do not have any experience with heroin, but know exactly what opiate WD feels like.

10mg lexapro (PAWS), 2.5mg of xanax (legs &sleep)and Dramamine (sleep). It will absolutely knock you out for 6 or 7 hours. I know that it is pharma... but if you want to get through the night mania... then this is the recipe. Taper the xanax however. That is another sucker you don't want to mess with long term.
