... don't want to move. No one understands
Im experiencing brain zaps from effexor for a week. Not fun. My dr said it takes time for the zaps to go away. I, Do alot of deep breaths and meditation. Also exercise on a spinner bike have helped me to tolerate the zaps. Smoking cigarettes makes it worse. Keep positive they will disappear.
Same thing others are saying. They are scary as hell and very debilitating! I've been having them for a month and they do subside. Mine still haven't gone completely away, but they have tapered down. I just started walking on a treadmill after work and I feel a little better. Get the blood flowing and your mind off of them. I'm disabled and can't do the treadmill very long, but just a little makes a difference for me anyway.
Hang in there! They don't last forever.
