Wellbutrin is an antidepressant that usually takes about 2-4 weeks before you start noticing any real changes. You want to make sure that you have gum or hard candy on hand because it does tend to cause dry mouth; also, try to space out your doses evenly and be as consistent as possible with them (ie 6am, 12noon, 6pm) because it COULD cause seizures (that is a POSSIBLE side effect-not a guaranteed one so don't freak out). Trazadone is also an antidepressant but it also helps with insomnia (the patients at my hospital are sometimes given this to help them sleep). You want to take this before bed and it takes about 2-3 weeks before it starts having any therapeutic effect. Again, this medication also causes dry mouth. Since both of these can cause dry mouth, you'll probably notice yourself drinking more water. I hope this helps and I wish you good luck!
