Hi, Linda! Four weeks is a pretty good fair trial although it takes six to eight weeks for the drug to reach therapeutic levels in her bloodstream. If her doctor started her on a low initial dose now would be the time to consider a dosage increase or the addition of a helper medication.
Let her doctor know her exact status, frankly and honestly, and then follow his/her advice,
