I stopped taking it for a week and by Friday was feeling so down and felt really bad I figured I was suffering from withdrawals. I actually felt more depressed than ever. Is that normal? Has anyone tried to stop taking it cold turkey style?
Do not stop it abruptly or without your dr. I would think twice before I stopped an anti depressant. You feel better when you are taking it, because you are taking it. It doesn't cure depression and it will come back when you stop it. Then you will have to go thru the side effects and the 30 day wait until you feel better, when you restart it.

Can I alternate the dose of celexa, for example 20mg one day and 40 mg the next, then back to 20 mg?
