Hi I want to try 5HTP but which on should I try I came a cross a lot of them like time release sustained release immediate release extend release 5HTP with melatonin and just plan 5HTP. Which one should I take and when should I take it?
Hello Ive been taking the CVS brand 5-HTP 100mg the bottle tells you to take 2 but, I take only one 100mg and after taking this for only a month I felt better, for me depression meds never agreed with me with all the side effects, so I thought I would try this and I have not had any side effects, will it work for you, not sure its not a silver bullet for depression, before I tried it I read some reviews and found out it did not work for everyone, hope this helps, good luck.

52389sh; Sorry but personally myself it did nothing when you have true anxiety or depression there is nothing like the prescription medication and that is the complaint I have heard from many people here but if you are bound to try it the better of the batch is the plain on DON'T USE ANY OF THE SR, TR, ECT WHICH IS TIMED RELEASE JUST THE REGULAR AND MOST TAKE IT IN THE MORNING ONCE A DAY. GOOD LUCK. bUT IF YOU DON'T NOTICE MUCH CHANGE IN A FEW WEEKS YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH THE DOCTOR. AGAIN THE BETTER ON IS 5htp non timed release and remember as with many of this miracle medication or vitamins these are not FDA APPROVED FOR THE REASON OR ANY REASON chuck1957
