Sometimes this happens on Depo Provera.
The way to stop the bleeding in between shots, is to bring your shots forward for a while. This is how the doctors here in the UK treat it & it worked for me every time.
Instead of getting your shot ever 12/13 weeks, get the next one at 9 weeks, & the one after that 10 weeks later, then the one after that 11 weeks later. If at any point you get bleeding between shots, go back to the previous interval, until you find an interval that works for you.
I always found that when I used this technique, I could go back to having it at 11 week intervals for months, & then would have to repeat the process & go back to 8/9 week intervals. That always brought it back under control.
Are you aware of the bone thinning & need for calcium, vitamin D & magnesium in the correct ratios?

Yes i am aware of that , i am going from getting it every three months to every two months , but my period always stopped after getting it after two days . I am scared but know it might be normal but its not like a full period . It will bleed for a few hrs then go away then start again .
It might take a little longer to settle down this time. Sometimes the lining of the womb can build up on the shot, & you need a D&C (dilation & curettage) where they scrape it away to try to reset things.
There is a medicine the doctor can give you to stop it, but you might want to see if the shorter intervals make a difference, first, especially if it is not heavy & constant.
It happened to me quite a few times over the years I was on Depo.
The other thing, is to make sure that you are up to date with your Smear/PAP tests. In the UK we tend to have them every 3 years, depending on the age range. I do not know where in the World you are.
It might put your mind at rest to rule out other causes of the bleeding, so you could ask a doctor to do a test for you, if it's a while since you had one.
Do u think it could be a cyst ? I don't know i have never had one .
I am in the united states and they don't do paps till the girls are 21. Will the bleeding just go away its just scary because i shouldn't be bleeding . It should of gone away and now i am worried but going to wait till Monday to make an apt if the bleeding hasn't stopped . I was just curious because i need it to go away
I think it's probably the Depo that's causing it, as it's very common on the shot. I think it would be sensible to rule out other causes, too.
