I just turned 18 and my fiance lives with me, so I decided to get put on the depo, but now I've been on my period for two months straight. I was wondering if I could take a birth control pill to help regulate my period, but I'm afraid that it might counteract my depo shot and give me a chance to get pregnant.
No, it won't do that. I've known of people being put on the pill when they were bleeding from the implant, so its not unheard of. Often the first depo shot makes you bleed like that, while the ones following don't. I'd call my dr and see what he thinks about.
