... had sex that seem to stop the bleeding and then it came back . now I'm cramping really bad & bleeding still . what could be happening ?
It's just your hormones trying to re-balance themselves now that you've removed the chemicals from your body. It can take up to 18 months to regain your fertility, but tbh I found that the first time I tried to come off Depo. I bled for best part of 2 years. Had all sorts of medical procedures & drugs. Nothing lasted & ended up going back onto Depo.
The next time I tried to come off it, I used a herbal remedy called agnus castus (Vitex). It sorted me into a regular cycle within a couple of months. I still use it, now, for PMS relief.
You can get it at health stores or online.
You can't use it if you're using hormonal birth control, but otherwise, there are no side effects.
I wish I'd known it before going through all of those medical procedures the first time I tried to come off Depo Provera. Would have saved a lot of time & suffering, I prevented having to put more chemicals into my body.
