My husband and I want to try to get pregnant again. I have only had 2 shots since my son was born. I had an appointment scheduled on April 23rd and we decided we would cancel that appointment. What are the chances of becoming pregnant after only 2 shots? I have read and read so many articles and everything I read is when women have taken it for years and it took years to become pregnant. I am slightly scared of it will take up to 1-2 years to get pregnant just after 2 shots. I'm honestly feeling guilty for even starting a birth control without really researching fertility after getting off birth control, I was more concerned about breastfeeding and it's effects on my son.
I'm pretty much in the same boat. My last depo shot was June 2014. I've been depo free for almost 8 months and have been trying to conceive the entire 8 months. I got my cycle back right away and its pretty normal. I use an ovulation calendar and I just recently starting using the ovulation kit. I only had two shots as well and I'm keeping my faith. I also keep reading that depo takes a long time to get out of your system no matter how many shots you recieved.
