When I switched BC methods my periods started again at regular intervals. I have been on any BC now for about 4 yrs & I don't use any other method of prevention. Why haven't I gotten pregnant?
Sometimes it can take some women a while to get pregnant. As a general rule, if you have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and have been unsuccessful, it is time to see your Dr. Both you and your partner should be examined. It may not be you, it may be him-low sperm counts and those sorts of things. It might be something with you and you may need to eventually consult a fertility specialist but first, go see your regular gynecologist and let her/him know you have been trying to conceive for the past 4 years and have a good exam. If they find no reason then your partner will need a sperm count and kind of go from there. Depo Provera doesnt make you sterile. It is not from that. Best of luck.
