i have been on depo provera For the past 2 year's non stop for both birth control and endometriosis and haven't had a period anytime within those 2 year. I have been off the shot for 5 months still no period or signs of ovulating and recently had unprotected sex Using the withdraw method a minimum 20 seconds before ejaculation. what are the chances that i can get pregnant
Just because you don't get a period, does not mean you aren't ovulating. It can take up to 18 months to get straight, You can also get pregnant as soon as your shot is overdue.
Less than the chances of someone who has allowed their partner to ejaculate inside of them, but more than someone who's not sexually active. That's about as precise a figure as anyone can give you.
You will first ovulate, before you have a proper period (a period is releasing the lining of the womb when it is not needed to nourish a fertilised egg). Therefore you could be pregnant without knowing it.
You may experience spotting or hormonal bleeding until you get your proper period back, which means you may think you've had your period, but it was just down to the adjusting hormones.
People become pregnant when trying, following use of Depo, anywhere from immediately to 18+ months later.
