Is depakine perscribed for children's migraine?

Hello. Do you mean Depokate? If so, I would say no. However age and weight and diagnosis as well as medical history will be a factor. Regards pledge

Hi, Depakine (Valproic acid), can be used to treat migraines, however i am not so sure about the age limitations? It is used mainly as an anti-epilepsy medication, and secondly, for Bipolar patients. Has your child been prescribed this? If so, talk with your child's doctor if you are concerned.
