About something a little odd I woke up noticing, and was wondering what you're opinions were, and if you think I may be on the right track as to what it may be. It's like my whole body is tender and very sore. If I touch my arm, neck (front and back), shoulders, back, tummy, pretty much everywhere just really feels very sore, and definitely worse to the touch. I have Fibromyalgia and have heard women talk about having Fibro Flareups. I've thought in the past, that I have had one, but not like this. This is worse. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.
I experienced the same thing several times now. You can't bear to have anyone touch you and even your clothing hurts you. My bf would tell his family members, huggers all, not to hug too tight. Its fibro acting up. Someday I'll send you the long list of things that fibro can cause.
Ive experienced the same thing as well. Sometimes, it only affects some of my body. Others, it can be my entire body. The tingling and pain can last from hours to days. It does seem you might be having a full blown fibro flare thats affecting your whole body. Hopefully it will pass quickly and you'll feel better very soon
Well unfortunately or fortunately ever how you want to look at it. I don't have that, my wife doesn't have it so I can't be of any help. I do read research that shows this type of flare up can happen and does happen in several cases. I will pray for you however . May God bless you and heal and comfort you.
Hi babyr sorry my baby I realy don't know that but I will research in the mean time hang on there be strong. I've been praying for our group the whole night fighting with my insomia I didn't sleep but dedicated my time to pray its now morning in south africa I must get out of bed and start a new day gud luck
Yes, Fibro can be quite painful. The pain can just keep moving around. It can catch me by surprise at times, such as when my daughter playfully poked me. It was so painful that her poke made me lurch back.
I pray that a cure will be found one day. The medications, thus far, have not helped. Best wishes and God bless. CE
Oh baby! I've had a flare last three months, the one I just came out of and probably will start up again tomorrow as the link between emotions (most humans do have them ;) and stress causing ir increasing severity of the pain are profound. I'm gonna write a thesis on it as just in the last two weeks where I was bedridden through holidays I have so many good examples. My approach is to keep my baseline pain as well controlled as possible (for me that's a 7 but that's how high my pain levels are :-( Then I have my scheduled meds for breakthrough I take around the clock, whether pain is higher or not but now we are working on getting a new break through med approved through my insurance. If it does, I wouldn't use it every day as its about as potent as you can get. So when having extreme flares where I just can't take it, I'll use that. I missed the holidays. Was bed ridden Saturday before Christmas Eve to Jan2. I was in such bad shape.
Sounds like you have a supportive hubby! That makes life much easier. Looking for word to our electronic date tomorrow however we decide to do it! Hope your are all snuggled in!
Hi Ruthie, or my wee Daffodil, I cannot believe I missed this question! It was during my eye thang, so sorry I didn't help you!!
Flare is horrible, it affects cognition as well as body pain. Ones memory can become quite confuzzled, one can forget words, or hunt for the right word.
It can be painful to just have a light touch, as well. Give it time, and tell that sweet man of yours about flare, so he can understand!!
You have a good heart, and are a great friend that would NEVER put personal info in public! For that, I'm ever grateful!
