I have never taken birth control before and began taking ortho tri cyclen on Sunday September 28. I have taken it every night at 9 pm and am on day 15. I had unprotected sex today and didnt take my pill yet because it is not 9 pm, is there any chance i could be pregnant? All of my friends said oral contraceptives take at least a month to work, but is mine working already? I really need a professional opinion as soon as possible. I have never take birth control before until these past 2 weeks so I am very nervous. Should I take Plan B? I already took it in early August so is that bad to take twice??? HELP PLEASE
i am on the same pill and I'm almost positive that it takes a week to be effective. If you are on you're 15th day then the pill should be working however if you are really worried try calling planned parenthood or your doctor for a professional opinion. but don't freak out! birth control methods are very reliable and almost always work, hope this helped !
