Will davocet show up the same loratab on drug screen for pain management?

No, it will not. Darvocet is propoxyphene (and has been off the US market for the past few years) and Lortab is hydrocodone. Both drugs have acetaminophen but the opioid is different. Pain management will screen for all pain drugs separately, not just under one "opiate" general category. They do not show the same-they are very different drugs.

I thought that Darvocet was discontinued. When I took it 15 years ago, I was about 80% deaf while under its effects. If you still have some of this medication, I would be very leery about taking it. And now i'm off to go try and confirm if it is in fact off the market...
