It is liquid form 250mg to 5ml. She is taking 12.48 ml 2x day always With food-Now has vomited several times tonight six hours after last dose. She has been on amoxicillin for five days- never on antibiotics before
If he has reason to believe that the ear ache is caused by one specific kind of strep, then the dose is right. if not she should be getting 50mg/kg. She weighs 15 kgs. That comes to 750 mg a day to be divided in 2 doses, or 375 mg a dose. That's a large amount suspension for to dispense, didn't the pharmacist question it? I'd call the dr and ask about it.
