Hi I have severe COPD 27% lung function am on Symbicort, Spiriva and Oxygen most of the time. I have just been approached to try a trial for Dalisrep I am apprehensive as I have so little lung function they are doing the trail to get the drug approved in here in South Africa. Anyone else on Dalisrep and has it helped you COPD
I started taking Daliresp five days ago. I have seen great improvement in the shortness of breath. It has some nasty side effects. I have had lots of nervous energy similar to taking speed for 3 days. Yesterday was better on that. Today I have been down all day with pain in my upper back, it feels internal. I have had some pretty hard heart papitations also. Just exhausted after 3 days of being so up. I went on and took the pill this evening and will have to see what tomorrow brings. I take it at 5:30 p.m. everyday and really don't know until the next day what is coming my way. I'll go it for as long as I can, but if the side effects get worse I'll have to stop.
I just started taking Daliresp 500mg today. I'm hoping for the best. If it works, I will be a very happy person since I've tried about everything else. I have moderate to severe COPD with chronic bronchitis. I will come back in a few days to let you know what, if any, side effects I'm experiencing.
My breathing improved right away, if you can get thru the nausea in the beginning. I suggest taking at night with dinner. My nausea stopped when I switched to night. I have been taking it for 2 months. I have had 1 flareup which was not severe as usual. So go for the trial I think it will help you. Can't hurt jennifers. Good luck
my dr started me at 1 dose everyother day to check for nausea. that was good but the feeling of not being in control of yourself and the agressivness was more than I could handle. I had to stop. only took it for aprox a week
try it. It may work great for you.
Good luck I hope you have good succes with it.
