So after taking 30mg of Cymbalta for about 2years i abruptly stopped taking it and had no issues in the weeks after. It's been about a month now and I think I am experiencing those side effects. I am dizzy and feel like a can pass out, feels like the blood is rushing in my head, sounds like like my hearbeat in my ears, I feel like my heart is pounding at times. migraines every few days, lightheaded and more anxious with feelings of heavy worry. i feel pressure in my head when i cough, laugh too hard or even try to blow a balloon!! I took cymbalta for anxiety and got off to try to deal with it naturally.
Went to see my dr and she said all looked normal. I didn't think to question it as a withdrawal issue. Does anyone else experience the same? I wonder if I should get back onthe med and taper off.

It very well could be withdrawal even after a month. If you continue feeling bad consider going back on and do a slow taper, but if you can handle it you may want to try and tough it out and get off cymbalta forever. Many people have trouble with withdrawals from cymbalta.
I wish you the best,

Seriously!! I should have tapered off... don't know what i was thinking!!
I did the same thing, I was only on it for two weeks and I am having withdrawal symptoms.
It was an express care type visit so she would not have known and i was so worried about the synptoms that the thought never entered my mind. I just emailed her and asked her. I'll post her reply.

I am hoping I can get over it on my own and not get back on. I have two little ones at home to care for so it might be hard. I find myself irritable and I don't want to even think that this could get worse as time passes.
I agree try and get off it. With time you should start feeling better.
