I am taking 10-325 Percocet for chronic back pain. I am about to start Cymbalta for depression and pain. Will it hurt to mix these two drugs?
No, they are commonly prescribed together. Taken as directed, following your doctor's instructions is the best avenue to take. Be prepared for some mild to moderate side effects when you first start the Cymbalta. These generally subside in the first couple of weeks. If they become intolerable, report to the doctor. It will take a few weeks for the Cymbalta to build in your system and a month or so to reach peak effectiveness. So be patient.
