I am on 60 mg a day. I am not sure if i can get off it on my own but am going to try. Does anyone know of anything natural I can take to help?
Hi Dimps. First you certainly can do this. I have been taking Cymbalta for over 10 years and I’ve been tapering off slowly since 2017 and I’m down to 4.4 mg now. I can’t say that it’s been easy but I will do whatever it takes to get this poison (imo) out of my body. I am in a Cymbalta group where there are almost 18,000 people working at getting off this drug. We taper off by 10% of the last dosage taken every 10-14 days. Some people have had to go slower; like taper off by 5% and some people have had to hold a bit longer. We are all different so the tapering process can be a bit different for everyone. If you decide to do it this way let me know and I will explain how we do it. There have been many people who thought they could never get off Cymbalta but they have by doing it this way and they have their lives back. I can’t wait to off this drug and start living again. There are a few things that can help you that I know of. Clean healthy eating is very important. Also drinking plenty of water will help flush the Cymbalta out of your system. Complex B, Magnesium and Omega 3 will help you a lot. Passion Flower is known to help with anxiety. I’m sure there’s some things I’m forgetting but I will add them when I remember. Cymbalta depletes our bodies of so much. It would be good if you could get a full blood work done to see what you are low in. I hope this helps you. Take care and I wish you the best. Cindy59
