Hi, Reivaj! If it's of any consolation to you many, if not most, of the folks here have been where you're at. There is hope for a happy life but you have to want it enough to work hard for it.
Are you currently taking Cymbalta or planning to? At what dosage?
If you could post again with more details it will help us help you.
Best wishes, Wildcat
Reivaj C My recommendation to you is to read as many of the accounts as you can of people who have been on Cymbalta for a significant period of time and are trying to get off of it. I would highly recommend that you pursue another drug to help you with your depression. There are many horror stories of people trying to wean themselves off of this drug and many have said that if they had known the consequences of long term cymbalta use they would never have gotten on it in the first place. Some have even suggested a class action lawsuit against Eli Lilly.
I am also on 90 mgs of cymbalta and am just starting to wean myself off. After reading the many accounts of others, I am pretty nervous but will be reducing my dosage very, very slowly. I believe that many of those who are attempting to wean themselves off of cymbalta are trying to do so too quickly. I do hope that this is helpful to you.
