This sounds like you are in a lot of pain. Something that cymbalta couldn't even come close to helping. You need Percocet or at least Vicodin. Cymbalta takes a while to work, just like most anti- depressants. It's not going to remedy severe pain. I take cymbalta and it doesn't do a thing. My doctor told me to be patient for pain from fibromyalgia ,
Geez , it almost sounds like a legal issue. Leaving srews in your foot ? What a nightmare. I am so sorry to hear this. Are u on crutches? Good luck to you.)
Hi, my name is Kimmi & I've had foot surgery & my experience tells me that your dr isn't taking the pain issue seriously. I had a severe bunion on my left big toe. It had deformed my foot to the point my bone had to be broken, screwed together & I was on crutches for 6 weeks. Absolutely zero pressure on my foot. Then slowly, through the next 3 weeks, I started to walk on it bit by bit. In a special boot for another 4 weeks. The surgery was Jan. 19 of this year. I have a 4 inch long scar on my foot, but no more pain, now. Directly after the surgery my doc prescribed morphine for the pain. For 3 weeks I took morphine, then stepped down to percocet. Please feel free to contact me. I can give you the name of my dr; he's awesome professionally and personally. You always have the right to seek a second, third & even fourth opinions. You don't have to just suffer. You're in my prayers. God bless & good luck.
