How long have you been taking them? If it is less than six months, it is normal to have break through bleeding when you first start taking birth control hormones. Usually around 4-6 months, things will start to regulate out and your periods will come during the fourth week. If it has been longer than 6 months and you are still getting breakthrough bleeding then you should talk to your Dr. You may need a different formula of hormones.
