Have all tests including an MRI
Shows all clear
First off, I want to apologize for your lengthy wait.
Clarification: You have Fibromyalgia and are new to Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril)?
It sounds like muscle pain related to muscle spasms. The Flexeril is a good drug of choice. It does not have any pain med in it. Usually with spasms there is inflammation so taking an NSAID my help in combo with Flexeril.
This way you are decreasing the spasms and pain.
Has this happened before?
Are you active, so possibly straining that area?
Have you tried a heating pad or warm bath soaks?
How bad is it? Ex... Annoying up to preventing you from sleeping.
Do you have any other symptoms like fever?
Are you coughing?
How long has it been going on?
What did the doc say?
What do you take for your Fibromyalgia?
Muscle strain would not show up on x-ray.
It must be a relief knowing the MRI didn't show anything serious.
I know it doesn't feel like a relief if you are still suffering.
Oops... what is your dose of Flexeril!
