In June diagnosed with Hashimotos. My joints in my hands are killing me they always feel swollen. Muscles feel sore and lots of hair loss. Is this normal and will it go away. I also have bad irregular periods and lots of Anxiety during my period.
In my case I had an intrathorasic goiter that was beginning to compromise my trach. The goiter was unnoticed, all tests were normal, in fact the ultrasound showed only slight enlargement. However, the goiter had grown downward throught the throat and into the lung, as far down as the pulmonary artery. If it hadn't been for a chest x-ray it would have gone unnoticed for who knows how long. I ended up with total thyroidectomy last year in July and through a few med changes found Armor Thyroid to be the best, now using a compunded formula since Armor is off the market.
