Is it a 5, 7, 9, or 12 panel test? I need to know if they can tell the difference between opiates. Some tests just have opiates and that could be Lortabs to Heroin. While others can tell the difference between hydocodone, oxycodone, heroin, etc... Of ciourse they test for coke, pot, amphetamins (speed, adderall), and PCP. But I need to know if they break down the opiates. Please and thank you for any info.
What I can tell you is that regardless of what (if anything) you have in your system, they will find it. It does not matter what kind of opiates if you have it in your system, before the test is returned to the office which is requesting it. the sample and results will go to a medical board. There the staff will review the sample and determine if you have any open prescriptions that would cause you to "pop hot". However if your wondering if your use will be uncovered, there's a good chance. Usually all of the major CSA schedule drugs are tested. Normally the only drugs tested on a rotational basis are steroids, and the 5 compounds listed on the CSA Schedule for "Spice" or synthetic marihuana. this means that a random batch of test samples are selected and are tested for these extra compounds. This info however, is from the DoD, but I believe most state testing procedures are similar to the federal ones that we follow. Bluntly answer your question, to my knowlege, they do not break down the synthetic compound of the substance, however they do a thorough background check. hope this helped
