Coumadin - how much alchol intake [beer] can I intake before it changes p.t.i.r. reading?

Everyone is different and will respond differently.
Drinking large amounts of alcohol in one go should be avoided as this may increase the effect of coumadin. In contrast, chronic heavy drinking can decrease the effect of coumadin. However, it is fine to drink alcohol now and then in moderation.

A few years ago I had two beers on New Year's Eve and the next day my INR was 4.2. My range is 2.5 - 3.5. I don't mess with alcohol anymore because it's not worth it. free discount card
