My legs ache really bad at times. I wake up from them aching & cannot go back to sleep. They ache during the day, 80% of the time, but it worse about 3-5 am. Does RLS make your legs ache badly? I am on ropiniole, one per bedtime. It helps sometimes bit for the most part it doesn't. Thats why I am curious if RLS could be my problem? Maybe I need higher doses even during the day? I'm just looking for insight on this since I dont know much about it.
RLS is really not a aching problem. They feel like and move like something is crawling up or down them. They move for no real good reason. May I suggest you have a sleep study to find out why you can not go back to sleep. I bet you are not getting a good night sleep. But a sleep study can tell all the whys and give information to the doctor so they can treat you correctly. For cramps and aching in your legs you might try drinking tonic water when the pain gets bad. Support hose or soxs could also help you.
