What is darvocet 100mg usually used for?

I hope they don't take it off the market because I currently get prescribed Darvocet and that would be horrible if they did that.Do you have any evidence to back up your theory mrspage??

Sorry no arcanoidcyst but ive heard it from my doctor the its a bigger quantity of tylenol in the pill so much that it will harm the liver much faster so it would actually be a good thing. Having something like vicodin 5/500 would be much better even that has lesser tylenol than the darvocet. Sorry this is how it was explained to me. Even if they took it off the market doesnt necessarily mean they would completely take your pain medication away they would just have give you something with less tylenol like the 5/500 vicodin. Either way you should be fine.

I've never had any luck with Darvocet. My doctor explained it to me as a, "glorified aspirin". I think it is more of a tranquilizer (or that is how it has effected me in the past) than a pain killer. Lindagail, it is just a very low potent pain killer that I think must have a sleep agent in it - but I'm not a 100% on that. That's just my 2 cents!
