Cotrimoxazole - can I give Bactrim to my 6 months old baby.what quantity I should give?

please take the baby to the pediatrician. Babies are delicate and you could easily overdose the baby. Babies can't always take meds that children or adults can. And bactrim is a sulfa drug, many are allergic and their throats swell, it could be a life threatening reaction that since the baby is only 6 months old, it can't tell you its throat is swelling.

Can be, but strictly with Doctor's prescription and advise. My baby got bacteria infection and doctor prescribed it. Follow the dosage of doctor very STRICT. Antibiotics can be fatal to babies if not given the right dosage.
