... I can't lift my arm or reach up or sideways, it's the rotor cuff. The doctor said I was a good candidate for shoulder replacement & to stop doing the isometric exercises and rest and ice it. It's a month until I have an appointment with the surgeon. What exercises should I do so that I won't lose the use of my arm? I have pain meds but I don't want to take them because I'm finally off those meds from back surgery in March this year. I'm on my last physical therapy day for this year. What do you suggest?
