My 14 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with MS. She has a cleft mitral valve between the upper and lower heart chambers on the left side. She is a very social kid who loves playing soccer and volleyball, she does drill team, ASB, and a lot of volunteering. We were given packets for 5 injectable drugs and told to read up and pick one. Copaxone is one of our top picks but we are just not so sure about the cardiac effects. What do you think? Has anyone out there had a similar situation and how has it worked for you? Do you think it is worth trying or to go with an interferon and deal with those side effects?
