... hungry all the time and I have gained a pound. Did anyone else have the problem of it not working? What time at night do you take the second pill?
Hi! I took my second pill about 12 hours apart. If you can, push through. Many people don't see a difference until they have been on the full dosage for a month or so. You are only on a 1/2 dose. To combat the tiredness try taking vitamin B. It also helps to get up and move. Wishing you success!! Hope this helps!
I am currently taking Contrave. I just started my 3rd month. I was a bit disappointed that nothing seemed to be happening even though I have been strict about staying to 1600 calories and walking 3 miles every day. Things didn't change for me until after I played around with my times. 12 hours apart didn't work for me because when I'm sleeping I'm not hungry. I finally found my own sweet spot by ;
Not eating breakfast until my stomach growled.
Taking first dose AFTER eating breakfast.
Eating lunch about 4-5 hours after breakfast.
Taking second dose before the commute home (which is about 4p and helps to prevent the raging cravings I always has as soon as I walked in the door.
Since finding a time frame that seems to suit me, I have kept my calories at 1600 but increased walking to 4 miles a day and the weight is now coming off. Like 6lbs in a week kind of off. If things slow down again, I will not get discouraged but understand that I have to tweak things a little again.
It's hard not to get discouraged when things don't happen like we envision. But keep at it. You will find what works for you!
